Brilliant Digital work with third parties to create products that leverage distributed computing on the Internet to exploit media.

Brilliant has developed various Internet interests including one with Joltid to establish Altnet Inc. a company focused on Peer to Peer network solutions. Global File Registry is a solution that bridges the divide between content owners and ISP's and Kinetech a company which licenses its patents to technology providers and developers.

In 2006 Brilliant settled a major litigation with the major Music labels and Movie studios. Since that time, Brilliant has focused it's attention on rebuilding content and distribution assets for the company. This includes growing a subscriber base of users of licensed content for Kazaa in conjunction with Atrinisic.
